AUSTIN (WTNH)– A man charged with filing bogus financial reports and taking advantage of government incentives for carbon fiber racing bikes has been suspended, according to documents released Monday.

Tony DiGiulio, owner of Racing Victoria, has been charged in Austin with three counts of fraud in the city’s Department of Economic Opportunity, Department of Environmental Quality, and the Department of Revenue after investigators found evidence he used city money for his racing and commercial activities.

The investigation was opened when the city’s Office of Inspector General found an investigation into DiGiulio for his claims of earning income from carbon fiber bikes. Investigators also said diGiulio claimed « over $1,000,000 in business deductions to the credit of his taxable income and he was awarded all of those deductions. »

A public hearing was held to discuss the allegations, but there were no details provided about the outcome of the investigation.

DiGiulio posted a bond Monday in Texas County Criminal Court.

According to a press release sent out with DiGiulio’s release to the public, he was charged in an administrative investigation of the department of economic opportunity and the department of environmental quality, which involved « discounted parking » he claimed he made at two parking lots he ran as « parking lots 2 and 에볼루션 카지노3 in San Antonio’s CBD, on August 7, 2014. »

« In the second set of four parking lots, DiGiulio claimed to have paid about $1,250 in parking fees, » the release read.

In a statement released by the city, City Attorney Greg Casciolo called the charges « a blatant violation of our tax law. » He also released a statement on DiGiulio’s website confirming the allega블랙 잭tions were investigated by his office.

« These charges are absurdly high, but not the first, » said Casciolo, « and our investigation shows that Tony has failed to disclose his false income to the credit authorities. Tony should be held accountable. »

DiGiulio was placed on indefinite suspension May 12 and ordered to report to the Travis County Jail May 18 at 1 p.m.
